This section is intended for Alchemy CATALYST users who wish to share terminology and translation assets with TRADOS Translators Workbench or TRADOS MultiTerm products.

Using the Alchemy TRADOST Component you can extract the contents of Project TTKs files to a wide variety of TRADOS technologies such as TRADOS Translators Workbench and TRADOS MultiTerm termbases. These files can be hosted on your local machine or on a remote server  accessible using TRADOS TM Server or TRADOS TM Anywhere technologies.

Additionally, you can re-use translations stored in TRADOS Translators Workbench files and TRADOS TM databases using the Alchemy Leverage Expert.

While working in the Translators Toolbar, translation suggestions can be displayed from TRADOS MultiTerm databases and TRADOS Translators Workbench files.

The exchange of terminology between Alchemy CATALYST and TRADOS technologies is seamless and this plug-in component was jointly developed by Alchemy Software Development with the assistance and support of the TRADOS development teams in the United States and Germany.

 

Some of the TRADOS integrated functionally is only available if TRADOS is installed on a host machine. Additionally, some of the more advance integrated features outlined in this section are only available when the Alchemy TRADOS Component (v2) is installed and activated on your local machine.
