You can modify or create a new Alchemy ezParseT rule by selecting a group, then a file extension and finally selecting the rule name in the Rule list box.

To create a new rule from scratch select Add from the Rules section of this dialog box. If you want to copy a rule and then enhance it, highlight the rule and select Make Copy. |

Leverage Locks & Memos using IDs Select this item if you want to reuse locks, memos and item status when using the Leverage Expert. This is automatically enabled if a regular expression contains ID fields. |

Colour Scheme Select the colour scheme to be used when viewing your file in the default text editor. Colour Schemes exist from many of the common programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java and Visual Basic. |

Translatable String Define regular expressions that identify text that has to be translated. |

Context Strings Define regular expressions that identify text that is not to be translated, however, may provide context information to your translator. This may include items such as comments, tag identifiers from INI files etc. |

Name Select a filename so that you can see the results of your parsing rule. Hit the Preview button to apply the current rules to this file and see the results in the Raw Text and Parsed Text windows. |
